KITA- the institute of Tropical Agriculture, Kumasi is at the forefront of Professional, Tertiary, Technical and Vocational Agricultural education and training since 1984, offering a wide range of full time and part time courses ofr prospective and practicing farmers and agriculturalists.

It is the premiere private agricultural college that has been offering technical vocational courses and other tertiary courses in general agriculture under the supervision of the National Accreditation Board (NAB), National Board for Professional and Technicians Exampination (NABPTEX) and the National Council for Tertiary Education (NTCE), the Minstry of Food and Agriculture (MOFA), the Ministry of Education (MOE), and the Ministry of Manpower Youth and Employment (MMYE).
